What it costs
MyBuilder puts the premium for bespoke blends, recycled glass and marble aggregates at 30 to 50 per cent on material costs, against standard aggregates such as golden quartz or silver granite. On a 50m² drive, where materials run roughly £2,000 to £3,500 on the published rates, that is a few hundred pounds — real money, but rarely the line that decides the quote.
Dune is a bespoke blend, so it sits on the premium side of that line. Across the whole job that difference is real but modest: the surface is £40–£120 per m² before groundwork, and groundwork is the line that actually decides the total.
